Has The Time Come?

As the title says, Has the time come? The time for what? you ask. The time to end my Club Penguin blog.

Blogging HAS been a great experience, for which I'm grateful. But I think the time might have come to close this blog down. I don't want to use the word "quitting" though.(darn! used it =P)

The reason I started blogging in the first place was because I wanted fame, like I think a lot of other bloggers did. Except the only bloggers I had heard of were Mimo777 and Chrisdog93. I wanted to be exactly like them, and have penguins chasing after me when I was online. So after making blogs in my extension class, Mum FINALLY let me sign up for blogger. After weeks on advertising on Chrisdog's chat (and getting banned for quite few hours), I got 1 or 2 followers.Then after reading Chrisdog's twitter, I met Hannah3823. I met Saraapril though Hannah, then somhow met Teddy2Tie. I then met Indy Luva, and now they are some of my closest blogging friends.

I am almost in high school, and now, I don't have time. I remember a few months ago, Malcom in the Middle was on, and I the computer doing catalogue cheats. I remember thinking I want to watch Malcom. Stuff this stupid post. No I have to do it, or I'll let my viewers down. That is just one example of a time where I've wanted to do something, but had to do a post. I want to get out there and enjoy life, without having to worry about blogging every Friday.

In my blogging journey, there have been happy moments, there have been stressful moments, and there have been sad moments. Mostly happy though. blogging has been a rollercoaster, but it's now time to get off.

A Break...

When you blog about Club Penguin, you need to learn that you have to post AT LEAST once a week. And when I started blogging, I didn't realise how tedious it would be. Sure, it does have it's moments, but right now I need a break. Maybe a two week break. I have TWO massive homework assignments that need completing (not to mention starting).

It probably sounds like I'm quitting. But I AM NOT QUITTING. Just a short break. I will be back on the 15th May.

In there, you can see all the rubbish we collected being recycled into other useful things.

Path to The Mine

If you've been to the forest lately, you would have noticed a new path from the Mine to the Forest, or the Forest to the Mine.

I really like this path, and it's quite handy. WHat do you think?

What do you think of the party? I like the free item, and how CP is encouraging kids to recycle, but once I got inside the actual plant, I was quite disapointed. Were you?

Also, I think the Scavenger Hunt is very challenging, but still fun. I was doing with my friend, and I was in the Book room looking EVERYWHERE for the rbbish, then my friend appears then dissapears. DIid you find it hard or was it just me?

Attack of the Evil Eddy Dog - Story

Yay! I had been waiting all day. In 5 minutes, my best friend was coming over. And we were going to play with our puffles. "Hi" I said as she walked in the door. "Hi" she replied. After sitting down and watching the Club Penguin Movie, we started to play with our puffles.

"My puffle Dave is an actor. What is your puffle?" I asked.
"Milli is a fairy," Jessamy2 replied.
"Lets make it that Dave is acting in a movie, and then Milli comes along and does some magic," I suggested
"Ok," Jessamy2 agreeded.

Just as we started playing, The Evil Eddy Dog came alsong. Evil Eddy Dog was the most feared, most scary, most terroising dog in all of the Club Penguin Land. He was big, with agry eyes, and short legs. He was a corgi.

"AHHHHHHHHHH! ITS EDDY DOG!" we both screamed at the same time. Evil Eddy Dog came powering towards us, slowed down and carefully picked up Milli the pink puffle, and Dave the green puffle.
"Milli! Dave!" I yelled, and went running after the puffles. But Evil Eddy Dog was too fast.

Jessamy2 sat down and started sobbing. "Milli"
"It's ok Jessamy2. We will find them,"
"If you say so..."

The next day, after resting,we went out and started searching.
"Milli! Dave!?" We yelled until our throats were hoarse and sore.

"OVER THERE! JESSAMY2 IS THAT THEM OVER THERE?" I shouted excitedly as I saw a pink and green blob in the distance. We ran as fast as we could, not letting our sore legs stop us. It WAS Milli and Dave, we saw as we got closer. But then as we got closer, we also saw that they were all muddy and dirty and not in the best state.

As we rushed them home to nurse them back to health and wash them, we thought how lucky we were to have such great pets, and that we were able to find them.

And guess what? Their hair was even more fluffier than before. Maybe we should wash them more often?

This is my first story. Do you like it? (It's ok if you don't :p)

April Fools Sneak Peak and Penguin Play Awards Winner

Today, Billybob posted a sneak peak for the April Fools Party. Look exciting? I cant wait :)

And the winners for the Penguin Play Awards are in. The play that will return to the sateg is Golden Puffle (*sigh...* Didn't that win last year aswell. WE NEED CHANGE!). Golden Puffle won in every other category aswell, except for Best Costume, which Shadow Guy and Gamma Girl.

Are you a little disapointed? Did you hope that Underwater Adventure or Fairy Fables might win? (Its okay if you do by the way) :)

Mobile Site?

I was wondering if I should make a mobile site for CHP that is better veiwed on mobile (e.g. Ipod Touches, iPhones, others phones...) It would be easy to make, and would be better for mobiles. What's the point you ask? Well, the number of times I visit sites from my iPod that aren't mobile is quite alot. When I look at mine, (and others) they look sort of mucked up and no where near as good as normal. So, should I?

March is quickly coming to a close, but there's still a lot left to do before it's over! The Penguin Play Awards are still going strong, and this week we'll find out what the top play of 2009 was. Make sure to cast your vote while the booths are still open!

Because the Penguin Play Awards counts as a play, there is a new catalogue with outfits

The first hidden item is a Penguin Awards Background. It's the same as last year though.

This is a lobster costume which I have never seen before, but anyway, it's pretty cool.

Puffle Rescue is Here

Ok, the new game, puffle Rescue is finally here. In this game we have to rescue puffles. We swim/jump to where the puffle is, and then go back to the staring line.

Blue Puffle

Members and non members can play this level. In this level, we basically just have to jump on the moving ice to get to the puffle. A bit like Frogger

When we rescue it, we get a thankyou card

Pink Puffle

In this level (members only), we have to jump on the mine carts to get to the puffle, but the puffle is on some wood that falls if you stand on it for too long.

Black Puffle

This round is also only for members, and we have to swim to the puffle to rescue it. If we run out of air, we sink.

Secret Hidden Pin

There is this really awesome pin for members (Sory Non-Members. BUT... I think non members should be able to get the key, because they are really dedicated to there puffles especially one of my friends. Even more than a lot of Members I know). Anyway, there is this pin that you can get while rescuing the black puffles.

Swim forward and pick up the puffle
Wait a few moments for the big black shadow to pass. That shadow is a giant squid
The squid will make some bubbles. Float on top of the bubble until it pops. THis will give you enough air to continue.
You will then get to a sort of passage thing. Keep going until you find a secret door. Go in the door, and you will be in the ocean.
Collect the pin.

Club Penguin App for iPod Touch/iPhone

There is a new app released in the App Store on iTunes called Club Penguin App. I ddownloaded this app thinking it would be great, only to find it was a huge waste of money. However, one feature I really loved was the Chat feature where you can chat on a xat chat. But being a bad app, you have to have signed up for Xat.

Hello Penguins!

Looks like there are lots of you with your jackhammers helping down in the Mine. Some of you are saying that's where you think Rockhopper's missing puffle Yarr is. There's also some talk that other puffles aren't where they normally are. Where do you think they went?

There's going to be more underground exploration happening near the end of the week. All of this stuff just might be connected to that new game we told you about... Make sure you keep your eyes on what's happening down there!!

1200 Hits Party IMPORTANT

The 1111 hits party is now called the 1200 hits and has been rescheduled. We are REALLY sorry that we have to keep changing the details. The reason for this change is that I have messed up the planning so the time is wrong. :(

Here are the new details. (Still merged with Shiplover)

Date: 13th March/14th March (depending where you are)

Time : The clock at the snowforts has been adjusted to suit daylight saving time, and that is where I went wrong. This time, we will ignore that clock and go by this one. Find your city/town and then see what time it will be at.

Room: Dock

Server: Koskiosko

Special Guests: Saraapril, Indy Luva, Teddy2Tie, Floppyj10,Sommfi, Peggie Quin
(Please not that these special guests are who we would like to come. We still have to ask if they can come :P.)

Greetings Penguins!

A few weeks ago, when the team showed the new orange puffle toy, lots of you wrote how stoked you were. (FYI - I think the orange puffle's HILAROUS and I'm pretty sure he has a sweet tooth like me.)

Well, the buzz on the island this week is about Rockhopper and there's been some talk around here about a new Rockhopper stuffed toy! I wanted to know more so I asked someone on the team who helps with toys.

Q: The orange puffle seems pretty loved. But what else is new?
A: The newest toys are some 9" stuffed toy penguins - there are a few different ones - including Rockhopper!

Q: Where can we get them?
A: They'll be in Disneyland Resort in California and at Walt Disney World, Florida really soon - and the team's working hard to get them in more places, too - like in Disney Stores and at the CP Online Shop. Keep checking those places. Also, each one comes with a code to unlock items online. And we've updated the Treasure Book!

Q: What should we do if we have toy ideas?
A: Give us all your feedback. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, and what you'd like to see in the future!

Update on New Mission

Hey Agents!
You've been asking and we promised you some more info about the new mission! In a couple months, you'll be using your Penguin Secret Agency skills again to try and stop a very determined Herbert...

What do you think he's planning this time? Look for more mission news in a few weeks.

In the meantime, you can practice your agent skills by doing the previous missions - and continue to keep the island safe. If you're not an agent yet, if your penguin is 30 days old, you can click the M at the top right of your screen. Then click the button that says: "Become a Secret Agent". You'll get to take a quiz to apply.

Screenhog on Early Puffle Designs

Hi everyone, it's Screenhog!

It's the time of year when we honor the island's best pets - puffles. Way back when Club Penguin first launched, there weren't any puffles at all. But a lot of you asked to have some kind of pet to adopt and we decided to make up a completely new creature. That's how the puffle came to be. Actually, you guys even decided on the name "puffle"!

Last year we showed a couple of the original sketches back from November 2005 when artists first started sketching what a penguin's pet might look like - we wanted to show some of those again (in case you missed them) plus a few more that have never been seen before.

What do you think?

At the Plaza, there is a colourful Puffle Hat for everyone.

And in the Puffle Show Room, there is a colourful jacket. This is only for members though :(

Here is a top secret message/post for PSA agents and other penguins who wish to be informed of a new DS Game.

Hey Agents!

It's been over a year since the original Elite Penguin Force for Nintendo DS came out. We've heard that lots of you like it and you've even been asking if we're making another one. We're really excited to be the first to tell you about the brand NEW EPF game for the Nintendo DS that'll be released mid 2010!! Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge will have cool stuff you said you liked from the first game - and TONS of new surprises.

Since the team's building it right now, we want to be able to show you some behind-the-scenes work we're doing. Just for a start, here's a sketch of something you'll be seeing in the game...

In other news: A few months ago we posted an image of a mysterious penguin and we told you she'd be helping Agents sometime in the future. There are Dog, Pig and Monkey costumes :)

To get across the bridge, you need the feather pin. There are clues in the catalogue to help you find it.

As some of you may know, Club Pengin has just revealed a clue to the orange puffle!

As we told you on Tuesday, we've been working hard to make the game faster for you with new servers. The team's run into a bug and we're not going to be able to deliver the Club Penguin Times when it normally comes out.

The team's working really hard to fix the problem. We know a lot of you read the newspaper as soon as it comes out and we want you to know that we really appreciate your patience.

In the meantime, we've heard you're noticing the improvements to the game! I'll keep you updated on our progress with squashing this bug and we'll let you know as soon as it launches.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

In a few months, a new theme park called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be opening in Universal Resort in Orlando. What I find weird though is that it's at a Universal Resort. Isn't Harry Potter a Warner Bros. product?

Finally I have come up with the time to do Friday's catalogue cheats. I am SOO sorry for being late, but I was really busy. 5 days late. Thats's not good. Anyway, here they are.

Cheat #1

Click on theTree Tip for a Purple Dress and Brown Hair.

Cheat #2

Click on the top of the mountain, and you can buy a Pastel Suede Jacket.

Cheat #3

Click on the other tree top for a Pom Pom Scarf

Cheat #4

The snowmans's nose hides a Jade Necklace.

Look, you can open up more than one cheat in this catalogue :)

Cheat #5

A pair of Pink Flippers are hidden in the mountain tip on this page.

Cheat #6

And the snowman's hat is home to a Pink Snorkel

To get the Vikings Helmet, click on the large bubble near the fishies tail.

And then a super extra hidden item is the Blue Viking Helmet. To get it, click in the ocean somewhere when you have the Red Viking Helmet open, and then click the bubble agin. Do this four times or until the Blue Viking Helmet pops up.

In this catalogue, there is a new flag - Haiti. Maybe Club Penguin added it so we can support Haiti after it's devestation.

Hello Penguins!

It looks as if you're having a great time exploring at the Cave Expedition! There's been lots of creativity in the Mine lately - and we're really hoping you'll be able to help the team with a creative decision...

From January 29 to February 14, Quebec, Canada hosts a giant winter celebration called Carnival. It's the largest winter carnival in the world, and if you have the chance to go this year, you'll see a Club Penguin area with activities, lots of ice sculptures, and tons of surprises! There's even going to be an award-winning ice artist. We really want your help to decide the final ice sculpture he'll carve live during Carnival!! When you get to the mine, there is a hard hat for everyone, and everyone can enter the cave.

When you get in there, the power keeps going out, so you need to throw snowballs in the Power Tube.

With your hard hat, you can drill in the cave in four different spots, and find the pieces for a Purple Jewel Pin.

Then you can go into the underwater cavern through a hole that has just appeared as you collected the pin. This is Members only though :(, but it's REALLY pretty.

There is a diving suit for 50 Coins, and you can swim out into the open sea and reef.

There is a background that you can collect aswell.

And, there is also an open screen.

Club Penguin should let non-members underwater, because it's really pretty.

Most of you probably already knew about the hole in the mine wall. So, read this:

Hello Penguins,

Things keep getting more and more interesting down in the Mine. A big thanks to everyone who's been helping clear the rockslide - you're doing awesome!

I'm excited to tell you that your hard work is about to pay off - the team has a HUGE event planned for this weekend when the rocks are cleared away. Check it out starting Friday!

Cheat #1

Woops, I forgot to put a circle in for this cheat, but if you click on the cusions of the purple chair, you get a Portal Box . On my computer, this isn't availible. Is it on yours?

Cheat #2

If you click on the middle stone on the Stone Lamp, you get a HD TV.

Cheat #3

The Snowboard Rack is hidden on the skis on the Ski Rack.

And now for the Igloo Upgrades.

Cheat #1

Click the Crowbar for a Secret Stone Igloo.

Cheat #2

The Secret Stone Deluxe Stone Igloo is hidden in the door of the Deluxe Snow Igloo.

There is also a new type of igloo, a Cave Igloo.

My puffles and I have just moved into one. :)

Hey everyone now fairy fables isn't my favorite play but still its costumes are great (I am not the only one that thinks so because fairy fables won in the category of costumes). Anyway billy bob posted and here us what he said:

Hello Penguins!

First of all, I want to thank all of you for your patience yesterday when the Penguin Style catalog didn't launch. We are really sorry for the delay and I know a lot of you were looking forward to the new T-shirts!

The team was able to launch the catalog and the fireworks today and we hope you enjoy checking it out with your friends. We're really excited to hear what you think about creating your own T-shirts in the Gift Shop!
